First Day of Classes
Welcome back, students! Get ready to embark on an exciting journey as we kick off the first day of classes with enthusiasm and anticipation. The first day of school will be Tuesday, September 2.
Homeroom teachers will reach out August 28 to introduce themselves and provide first day information.
School hours:
- Monday - Thursday, (soft entry 7:50 am) 8:00 am - 2:30 pm
- Lunch Break, 11:45 am - 12:25 pm
- Friday, (soft entry 7:50 am) 8:00 am - 12:00 pm
Kindergarten Staggered Entry
Staggered entry will be on September 2. Teachers will be notifying Kindergarten parents with student entry times. Please meet your teacher at the center front entrance of the school.
Kindergarten hours:
- Monday - Thursday, 11:40 am - 2:30 pm
- Alternating Fridays, 8:00 am - 11:00 am
School Office Hours
Starting Monday August 25 the school office will be open daily from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm. Please reach out directly to Ms. Blasken at jlblasken@cbe.ab.ca if you have any questions.

Kindergarten
Kindergarten plays an important role in engaging young children as active participants, building knowledge about themselves and the social and natural words.
Lunch Supervision
Lunch for students is from 11:45 AM to 12:25 PM. Students remaining at school for lunch are required to fill out a Lunch Supervision form. This may be done through your MyCBE Account. Spoons and forks will not be provided, only emergency snacks.

School Supplies
Students supplies are provided by the school for children in kindergarten through Grade 6. Families are to provide indoor shoes, backpacks, lunch, and snacks. You may also choose to send your child with a water bottle. Please have your student bring a backpack with their lunch and snacks. All students also need a pair of clean indoor shoes which are to remain in school.
Please ensure that all items are labelled with your child(ren)'s first and last name.

Digital technologies are transforming how we teach our students. We utilize a range of technology tools to personalize each student’s learning experience, including getting connected to Wi-Fi for seamless access to educational resources.
Off-Site Activities
Keep updated on field-trips and other exciting off-site activities throughout the year. We're excited to expand on learning opportunities by stepping outside of the classroom.
