Dear Braeside Families,
Although it seems early, we are deep in planning for the 2024 – 2025 school year already and need your help. If you know that your child(ren) are not returning to Braeside School next year please email Mrs. Bennett and Ms. Blasken with the information of where they will be attending (mabennett@cbe.ab.ca, jlblasken@cbe.ab.ca). Additionally, if you have a child coming to us in kindergarten (or know of a family who has a student coming) please register them as soon as possible. This can be done through the main CBE website (link here). (Please call the office if you need support with this).
School Council has three upcoming events that they need volunteers for! Please email Kyla Anderson at braesidechair@gmail.com or complete the volunteer form on the School Council website (link here) if you are able and to support any of the following:
May 2 Celebration of Learning - volunteers required to sell and serve Hotdogs, Chips and Drinks as well as tickets for the June Family Dance, specifically:
- 3:00 – cooking setup (2)
- 5:00 – 6:00 – sell at the concession (5), dance ticket sales (1)
- 6:00 – 7:00 – sell at the concession (5), dance ticket sales (1)
May 6 to May 10 – volunteers for a teacher appreciation initiative (sign up for snacks / coffee / etc.)
June 6 – School Council Family Dance – volunteers required to collect tickets and sell items at the concession, specifically (volunteers will get a free ticket to the dance):
- 5:00 – 6:00 (5)
- 6:00 – 7:00 (5)
- 7:00 – 8:00 (5)
Thank you in advance to all the family members who volunteer their time for these initiatives. We know our school community is stronger when the school and families work together to make fun things happen!
