Dear Braeside Families

Wow!!!  What an amazing morning.  We were so fortunate to celebrate our grade 6 students today with a Farewell Assembly.  The highlights from the assembly included a whole school song dedicated to the students as well as pictures of the students from when they were in kindergarten (they were ADORABLE!!). Thank you to all the families who were able to attend. It made their day even more special. We are sad to see this group of students transition to Junior High but with them the best of luck. 

On Monday afternoon we will be hosting a ‘Sport’s Day’. Please ensure that your child(ren) comes to school dress appropriately to participate in various athletics activities and have a hat, sunscreen, extra snacks and a water bottle.  Thank you to School Council for sponsoring this event and purchasing each student a Freezie!  We know that will be a popular station!

Families will be able to view student report cards online through their MyCBE account from June 26 to July 26, 2024. Report cards may be viewed, downloaded and / or printed. For best access, log into the MyCBE portal instead of using the PowerSchool App. 

Library books are now past due. If you have Braeside library books at home, please send them back to school ASAP. There will be a fee administered for books not returned. Please review your MyCBE account for outstanding fees. Fees are located under the Student Fees & Services Registration tab.  

Please note that next Thursday is a half day and students will be dismissed at noon.  

If you know your child(ren) will not be returning to Braeside School for the 2024-2025 School Year, please let us know as soon as possible. Please encourage anyone you know who will be joining us for kindergarten next year to register with the school if they haven’t already.
