Dear Braeside Families
Encourage your child(ren) to tell you about our skipping showcase today!! It was SO MUCH FUN!! Students were excited to share what they have learned and have been working on and we gave away a ton of prizes!! At the end of the showcase everyone got a Freezie and we had a dance party. It was a great community building event and many students cheered loudly for their friends and classmates! In total, students raised $4933 for the Jump Rope for Heart Campaign. AMAZING!! Please choose safety over convenience when dropping off and picking up your child before and after school. We’ve noticed that many students are walking or running between cars to meet their families as well as an increased number of people doing U-turns in front of the school. Given the warmer weather we have been having more students are also riding their bikes. Please be mindful of our students, we don’t want anyone getting hurt.
School Council will be hosting their final meeting of the year next Tuesday night at 6:30 in the Learning Commons. Please consider joining. Braeside School is a better place because of the members and support of School Council.
We are in the thick of planning for the 2024-2025 School Year. If you know you will not be returning to Braeside School, please let us know as soon as possible. Also, we are hosting our Kindergarten Orientation on June 13th. Please encourage anyone you know who will be joining us for kindergarten next year to register with the school if they haven’t already.
