Jump Rope for Heart

Wow! Wow! Wow! Our students are doing an outstanding job of tracking their Healthy Habits and have surpassed our Jump Rope for Heart Fundraising Goal of $2000 already! Currently, we have raised $3555! That is amazing. The students are proud of themselves! They have earned a whole-school extra recess, they get to decide what the teachers dress up like on our spirit day and freezies for our skipping showcase. We encourage students to commit to their healthy habits over the weekend, eating fruits and vegetables, limiting screen time to under 2 hours a day, drinking plenty of water and finally being physically active for at least one hour. We know students are looking forward to showing off their skills next week.

Family Dance

🎉🎶 Attention all Braeside students and families! Get ready to dance the night away at our spectacular Family Dance! 🎉🎶

We're thrilled to announce that our highly anticipated Family Dance is just around the corner, and we want YOU to be a part of the fun! Mark your calendars for May 29 and 30, because that's when tickets go on sale at Braeside School during lunchtime. Tickets are priced at just $5 each, so grab yours early to secure your spot on the dance floor!

When purchasing tickets, please send your child with a piece of paper that includes the name of the parent/guardian, the number of tickets required, and the name of the Braeside student(s) attending.

Safety is our top priority, so please remember that all children must be chaperoned by a guardian throughout the event. We appreciate your cooperation in ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all attendees.

Braeside Community Litter Pick-up

A community member stopped by the school today and dropped of the flyer for the upcoming ‘Braeside Community Litter Pick-Up'. Please consider volunteering your time! “Great cities have caring communities.”

Planning for Next Year

We are busy planning for next year already! If you know that your child(ren) are not returning to Braeside School next year please email Mrs. Bennett and Ms. Blasken (mabennett@cbe.ab.ca, jlblasken@cbe.ab.ca). Additionally, if you have a child coming to us in kindergarten (or know of a family who has a student coming) please register them as soon as possible. This can be done through the main CBE website (link here). (Please call the office if you need support with this). We are hosting our Kindergarten Orientation on June 13.
