Dear Braeside Families,
It has been so great to welcome your children back to school this week. Staff members were excited and happy to see them, and students were thrilled to see their teachers and friends. Our top priority over the next few weeks will be working to ensure a smooth transition back to school with a focus on reconnecting and teaching and learning in the classrooms. Some events (e.g. School Council Meeting, Picture Retakes) have been postponed.
We have a few staffing updates to share with the community. We are excited to welcome Mrs. Rigo back to kindergarten and Mr. Hitchcock back to grades 4/5. If you need to reach out to either Mrs. Rigo or Mr. Hitchcock, please feel free to email them at nsrigo@cbe.ab.ca or ahitchcock@cbe.ab.ca. Students in both these classes greeted their teachers on Wednesday with warm smiles.
If you child is part of Scouts, Girl Guides, Cadets, etc. please encourage them to wear their uniform to school next Friday as we will be holding a small Remembrance Day Assembly.
