Dear Braeside Families
We are very excited to be participating in the 45th Terry Fox Run next Tuesday September 23 at 1:00 pm and need a few more volunteers to ensure the event runs smoothly. This year we are expanding our run boundaries to include a community component and needs volunteers along the route to help direct students. If you can volunteer, please reach out directly to Mrs. Green (shlgreen@cbe.ab.ca). Our school fundraising goal is $1300 and we are well on the way! Our first Spirit Day – Braeside Blue Blast – was a huge success! It was great to see so many students dressed in blue. They loved the dance party first things this morning and were excited to sing along to some popular songs.

Monday September 22 is Picture Day! Send your child to school with their best smile.
Save the date! September 25 from 4:30 – 6:30 is our Welcome Back Event. You will have an opportunity to meet your child’s teachers and visit their learning spaces. School Council will be selling small items like popsicles, juice and chips in the front foyer.
All families have received an email directly from CBE regarding online forms they are required to complete yearly. Please ensure that you are attending to this as we require current demographic information. If you need help completing the forms, please reach out directly to Ms. Blasken (jlblasken@cbe.ab.ca).
